One of the goals of the Project 17 team is to assist business in bringing capital to the region in the form of investments and grants. The Taskforce for the Advancement of Regional Innovation Clusters in Washington, D.C., (TARIC) has been created to support that effort. In addition, Dr. Rock Clapper is creating an Ag-Tech Fund for the region that will focus on bringing vital seed capital to emerging ag-tech businesses in the Project 17 and surrounding regions.
